Corsair introduces a gaming keyboard and mouse designed specifically for Mac

The K65 Plus wireless keyboard now features a Mac-style layout for its row of function keys, plus command and option keys.

Corsair has unveiled an updated version of the K65 Plus wireless keyboard, which now offers Mac compatibility. Alongside it, a new version of Corsair’s M75 wireless mouse is also available. Both peripherals come in exclusive Mac colors, including glacier blue and a white variant called frost.

The frost versions of the K65 Plus keyboard and M75 mouse are available for purchase now through Apple’s online and retail stores for $179.95 and $129.95, respectively. Glacier blue versions will be available later, at the same price.

The K65 Plus keyboard features a 75% tenkeyless design with pre-lubricated CORSAIR MLX Red v2 linear switches, designed to offer a quieter mechanical experience. The updated version includes command and option keys with Mac-specific icons, plus a function key row that mirrors the layout of Apple’s own keyboards. The keyboard’s functionality, including LED lighting, can also be customized using Corsair’s iCue software, now available for macOS.

Corsair claims the keyboard’s battery life can last up to 266 hours on a full charge. However, they don’t specify whether this applies when the keyboard is connected via USB cable, Bluetooth, or the wireless 2.4GHz connection, which is aimed at reducing lag. A 2.4GHz dongle is included, but according to Gizmodo, it requires a bundled USB-C to USB-A converter from Anker, as Apple devices no longer support USB-A.

The M75 wireless gaming mouse weighs 89 grams and has an ambidextrous design suitable for both left- and right-handed users. It features Corsair’s 26,000 DPI Marksman optical sensor and can connect to devices via Bluetooth or Corsair’s proprietary Slipstream wireless technology, which requires a dedicated dongle. Like the keyboard, the mouse’s lighting, DPI, and button configurations can be customized through Corsair’s iCue software.
